Technical Program Manager (Samsung Developer Program)
**General Description**
Job Summary: We are actively seeking a talented and experienced technical program manager to oversee a wide variety of projects from concept to design, and through implementation and lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will be a self-managed leader with the ability to work with diverse project teams and vendors across geographically dispersed locations.
**Necessary Skills / Attributes**
Job Responsibilities:
* Manage projects with top-down oversight throughout entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline.
* Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial ideation through implementation.
* Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
* Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
* Review proposed modifications on project plans, including meeting with interested parties to approve and implement beneficial changes.
* Oversee acquisition of resources and materials as needed before and during projects by talking with customers, team members, managers, and vendors, and negotiating price and payment agreements with vendors.
* Anticipate details of future projects by communicating directly with customers and staying informed of relevant trends and industry news.
* Manage internal and external expectations consistently aligned with the actual and forecasted delivery progress, budget tracking and project risks.
* Provide organized and timely management of project communications/meetings, dependencies, action items, issues and risks. Job Skills & Qualifications: Required:
* BS in Computer Sciences or relevant technical field with 5-7 years project management experience directly leading full cycle software development projects with Understanding of and experience in standard delivery lifecycle methodologies (SDLC, Waterfall, Agile)
* Proficiency in project tracking tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheets, Trello
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical team members.
* Fully proficient with MS Excel and Powerpoint
* Ability to be flexible and juggle multiple projects in a fast paced environment Mandatory requirements
* Knowledge of web service development and maintenance (API management, php, MySQL, SEO)
* Knowledge of AWS operational support and management Preferred
* Knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce, Hubspot, Oracle NetSuite, SugarCRM)
* Knowledge of ticketing systems (Zendesk, LiveAgent,
* Knowledge of CMS systems (Wordpress, Mindtouch)
* Knowledge of Campaign management systems like Mailchimp
* Knowledge of SQL, Java, Unix-based OS (Bash, Shell)
